Meet our coaches
All of the coaches at BFSC are safe sport certified and complete a background check each year. Our coaches take annual certification tests to continue their education.

Abby has been coaching since 2014. She is a registered US Figure Skating & Learn to Skate Instructor and is available to teach all levels of skating skills, singles, ice dance, solo free dance, and hockey edge skill development.

Sarah has been coaching since 2001. She is a registered US Figure Skating & Learn to Skate Instructor and is available to teach all levels of skating skills, singles, ice dance, and solo free dance.

Monica has been coaching since 2009. She is a registered US Figure Skating & Learn to Skate Instructor and is available to teach skating skills, singles, ice dance, and hockey edge skill development.

Alison has been coaching since 2003. She is a registered US Figure Skating Instructor and is available to teach skating skills, singles, and ice dance.

Jenni has been coaching since 1990. She is a registered US Figure Skating Instructor and is available to teach skating skills, singles, and ice dance.

Ashlee has been coaching since 2022. She is a registered Learn to Skate Instructor and is available to teach US Figure Skating & Learn to Skate private lessons, choreography for ice show numbers and competition programs.

Interested in coaching with Bemidji Figure Skating Club? Complete the coaching application and submit it to the email address listed on the form. Please include a resume, a letter of recommendation, and your mentorship hours record, if applicable. We welcome qualified applicants who are committed to providing a safe, positive, and professional skating experience for our members.

Apply to become a Student Coach and gain hands-on coaching experience while being mentored by qualified coaches.
Age 14+: Eligible for Learn to Skate mentorship.
Age 18+: Eligible for private lesson mentorship.
Develop leadership, communication, and coaching skills while helping younger skaters grow and succeed on the ice.
