Volunteer

BFSC is a non-profit organization that relies heavily on volunteers. Our programs and events would not be possible without the time and talents of our members and families. From hospitality and fundraising to ice shows and committees, every role helps create a positive and successful skating experience. Every volunteer role plays an important part in creating a positive and successful skating experience. Whether you can give a few hours occasionally or take on a larger role, your involvement truly makes a difference and helps keep BFSC strong.

If you are ready to make a difference in our skaters’ lives or have questions about how you can be most helpful, please contact us at Info@BemidjiFigureSkatingClub.com. We would love to help you find the right fit and welcome you to our volunteer team!

Full Club

Full Club Members play an important role in supporting our programs and skaters.
Ice Monitors are needed to help maintain accurate skater sign-in and ensure safety on the ice.
Committee Members: Parents and members have the opportunity to provide valuable input by serving on a variety of committees throughout the year.
Test Session Volunteers: Assistance is needed during in-person test sessions to help check in registrants, play music, and provide hospitality items for our dance partners and/or judges.

Special Events

Our Fantasy on Ice Show takes many helping hands to make it a success. Volunteers are needed with set-up and tear-down, working concessions, serving as ticket sellers and ticket takers, assisting with hospitality and security, manning the fundraising table, acting as backstage parents for our Learn to Skate groups, and helping with costume collection after the show is complete.
